Piraeus honors St. Eleftherios and plaque unveiled in honor of the father of shipowner / Olympiacos President E. Marinakis
Olympiacos F.C. President and shipowner Evangelos Marinakis attended the Holy Liturgy at the Holy Church of Saint Eleftherios on Tuesday morning for the feast of Saint Leftheros. Also present at the service was Piraeus Mayor Yiannis Moralis.
The service was particularly moving as it took place in the church’s opening thanks to funding by Marinakis in honor of his father, Miltiades, who had links with the parish of St. Eleftherios.
