“12 months, 12 good news for you”: Aegean to offer new services every month

Keeping its promise to present a new service every month, Aegean in January focused on upgrading the airport services

Aegean, the largest Greek airline by total number of passengers carried, by number of destinations served and by fleet size, has launched “12 months, 12 good news for you,” a program that aspires to upgrade the passengers’ travel experience.

Keeping its promise to present a new service every month, Aegean in January focused on upgrading the airport services, by announcing two new amenities at the Airports of Athens, Thessaloniki and Larnaca. Two New Airport Services aim to support the company’s strategic promise to serve its passengers by accommodating, simplifying and upgrading their travels.

Specifically, in January Aegean launched the Public Lounge, a new, beautiful, functional, welcoming area, accessible to everybody, at departure gate 4, of Athens International Airport, “Eleftherios Venizelos”.

At the new AEGEAN Public Lounge one can relax before the flight, surf on the internet by using the tablets available and check-in easily, quickly and simply at the Self-Check-in Kiosks located in the area. Using the Self-Check-in Kiosks passengers may also issue their own baggage tag. Furthermore, everyone that visits the new AEGEAN Public Lounge at the Athens International Airport can enjoy scenes of beauties of Greece by watching AEGEAN’s new channel, “enter Greece”.

Finally, in order to serve families better, as of January 1st, at the Athens, Thessaloniki and Larnaca Airports, AEGEAN provides New Baggage Drop Off counters exclusively for families travelling with young children up to 12 years old. With this new service, family travelling becomes easier and more comfortable since they are served faster at the Baggage Drop Off points exclusively for them.
