15 hoodlums smash up Tiresias Bank Info Systems at Marousi

Huge damage believed to have been caused by anti-state group members

Around 15 unknown assailants, whose faces were covered, attacked the officers of the Tiresias Bank Information Systems at the corner of 1 Alamanas and Premetis streets at Marousi, a suburb that is north from the center.

They entered the offices at around 9.30 a.m. and started smashing computers, chairs, desks and other objects before leaving.

The police rushed to the spot, chased them and detained seven people. There are reports that the attack may have been organized by the Rubicon group, an anti-state organization that is known for past attacks of the offices of the Hellenic Republic State Asset Fund (HRSAF) and the offices of the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) ruling party at Koumoundourou Street.
