The imposing multi-million dollar cruiser, ‘Al Mirqab’ dropped anchor off the beach of Psarou in the island of Mykonos. Considered one of the miracle sin shipbuilding by Forbes magazine in 2008, the yacht belongs to one of the richest men in the world, the Sheikh of Qatar, Tamim bin Al Thani, who chose the blue waters of the Greek cosmopolitan island for his holidays one more year.

Al Mirqab yacht

The ‘floating palace’, which cost the 57-year old Arab magnate 300 million dollars, is 133 meters in length and is the 6th largest yacht in the world. It has 51 crew members, 12 suites, two pools, a helipad, gymnasium, Jacuzzi and a movie theatre. The interior of the vessel is fitted with handcrafted furniture, while the works of famous painters like Picasso and Van Gong feature on its walls.
