4.1-magnitude quake jolts Crete

The epicentre was located 59 km south of Zakros

A light quake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was recorded on Tuesday at 11:04 at the sea region of Zakros, Lasithi, Crete.

According to the Geodynamics Institute of the Athens Observatory, the quake’s epicentre was located 435 km south-southeast of Athens and 59 km south of Zakros.

No damages have been reported.
