No reports of damage
A 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded at 21:35 in the Messinian region on Wednesday.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located 20 kilometers southeast of Pylos in the northwest Peloponnese, while the focal depth was measured at 41.1 kilometers.
The tremor was felt throughout the area, but so far no damage has been reported.
