The list of 6,500 employees of public sector who will be laid off by the end of 2014 is confirmed, since the program presented by the government was accepted by troika.

According to “Ethnos” newspaper, 3600 contract staff members and about 1000 employees of public transport and employees of the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Rural Development and Food are included in the list.

The completed list is the following:

-3600 temporary laid off

-1050 employees of public transport

-1850 employees following court decisions

-Employees of Ministry of Culture

-Employees of Ministry of Rural Development and Food

According to information, no more layoffs will be needed during 2015-2016.
