Acropolis Museum for free on March 25

The Acropolis Museum is celebrating March 25 in its own way

On the occasion of the Greek National Holiday of March 25, admission to the Acropolis Museum will be free of charge with a number of programs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For adults:
“Acropolis Museum artifacts speak about the historical memory of ancient Greeks” will showcase Greek history through the museum’s artefacts. In Greek (10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3.30 p.m.), English (10.30 a.m.) and French (10.30 a.m.). Duration: About 50 minutes, maximum number of participants, 35. Strictly on first come-first serve basis.

For children with parents:
Children, inspired by the myths of Athens, will create their own souvenir. For ages 4-7 years at 12 noon. Ages 8-12 at 1.30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. About 50 minutes for each group. Maximum participants per activity: 20 children. Strictly on first come first serve basis.

While there, visit the Museum’s cafe for traditional cod fish with garlic dip that is traditionally eaten on March 25.
