Huge manhunt in progress by Belgian police, Salah ready to “blow himself up”

Salah Abdeslam, the man who took part in the Paris attacks, is on the run

Huge manhunt taking place in Belgium. The metro has been shut all day, concerts and sporting events canceled, and all shops and restaurants have been shut ordered shut since 6 p.m. Police are on high alert in a huge manhunt that led to four arrests in relation to the Paris bombings that led to the death of 130 people and hundreds injured: One in the Belgian capital of Brussels and three in Turkey.

Carine Couquelet, lawyer of Hamza Attou – a fugitive ‘blood brother’ of Salah Abdeslam – said that her client had said that Abdeslam had been wearing a vest, perhaps an “explosive belt” when he spoke. The police had stormed into the jihadi stronghold where the Paris attacks had been planned. They fired CS gas into the apartment and neutralized the occupant, however Abdeslam is still on the run.

Abdeslam is reported to be “extremely anxious” and “ready to blow himself up” after a week of being chased by the international police in a huge manhunt following multiple suicide attacks in Paris on November 13.

Now, Belgian authorities say that there is an ‘imminent danger’ of an attack and warn Belgians to stay away from crowds and exercise caution when moving around.
