Alt Finance Minister Tsakalotos on negotiations with creditors

“Things are better now compared to the period before PM Tsipras’ meetings” he noted

Alternate Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos expressed on Wednesday his optimism with regard to the progress of the talks between Greece and its International creditors.

“We can be fairly optimistic. As you can understand, there is always anxiety, pressure and red lines until the last minute,” Tsakalotos said in an interview with Real FM.

“I think that after the meeting PM Alexis Tsipras had with the ‘6’ EU leaders and top officials in Brussels and his meeting with Angela Merkel in Berlin, a framework has been established. Things are better now compared to the period before these meetings,” he noted.
