An American man shuts down Times Square, NYC, to propose his Greek partner

The “mission” took place at an early Sunday morning and the proposal was filmed for the reality show

Ryan Serhant, a 30-year-old real estate agent and star of Bravo TV reality show Million Dollar Listing New York, managed to get the permission to shut one of the most busy spots in the world, the Times Square, for an hour.

And all that because he wanted to make a unique and unforgettable wedding proposal to his partner, Emilia Bechrakis, the Greek beauty who stole his heart.

“No one has ever done something like this,” Serhant told E! News.

“But I’m only going to propose once in my life, so I wanted to make sure that I did something special.”

“It worked!” said the Ryan obviously relieved that everything went as he expected to. “This is the most incredible day! Words really can’t describe what I’m feeling.”

“This was a complete surprise,” the future Mrs. Serhant told E! News. “I was not expecting this at all. He’s really outdone himself!”.
