The life of Germanwings co-pilot Andreas Lubitz who caused the death of 149 people by intentionally crashing a jet into the Alps is now under scrutiny by the authorities, who are trying to determine what caused this horrific act.

New data are coming to light as the investigation progresses. According to the latest information, the 28-year-old man who had been suffering from depression before his death bought two new cars only a few weeks ago, with the intention of giving one to his girlfriend.
