Argyris Angelou outgoogled Google in the "gay" factor

The actor was fed up with seeing his homosexuality pop up every time he did a name search

Greek actor Argyris Angelou petitioned Google to delete the word “gay” that appears everytime his name is googled. This means that the first characteristic of the young actor to appear everytime a Google visitor does a name search for Argyris Angelou, the word “gay” automatically pops up beside his name is “gay”. He also noticed that google gave priority to articles that had to do with his sexuality rather than his career.

The local actor who has appeared in a number of series, including the hit “Para Pente” (To Five), contacted google to complain about this. At first Google responded by saying that it was unable to rectify the problem due to the fact that the internet service could only deal with his problem. In response, he took legal action.

Finally, Google was able to remove all links that had to do with Mr. Angelou’s private life. These days a click on his name focuses mainly on his work and bio rather than homosexuality.
