The Euroworking Group is hosting a teleconference at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Government sources have confirmed Greece’s willingness to reach an agreement with the country’s EU creditors on the basis of a framework that does not involve austerity measures so that the economy can be rebooted.

So far, meetings with the Brussels Group have been conducted in a cordial climate with a mutual desire for an agreement, say government sources. The same sources state that both sides intend to intensify the fact-finding process underway in Athens.
