Average hotel valuations in Athens show rise in 2014

The huge rise in tourists visiting Athens in 2014 increased hotel property values, for investors who wish to invest in Greek tourism.

 

According to research conducted by HVS on European hotel valuations in 2014, hotel values in Aathens, based on room price values, have risen by 5.9% in 2014.

 

The famous hotelier consulting company which does business in over 60 countries worldwide, ranks Athens as 20th in a list of 33 cities for 2014, concerning the valuation of hotel rooms for investors. Value per room in Athenian hotels in 2014 equates to 118,652 euros, with the Greek capital being over the European average by +3.1%.

 

For Europe, the highest values per room are: Paris (703,935 euros), London (678,222 euros) and Zurich (534,646 euros.
