B. B. King poison claim: Daughters request homicide probe!

Two of B. B. King’s daughters are accusing the legendary guitarist’s manager of poisoning their father

Las Vegas police are conducting a homicide probe into the death of famous blues guitar legend B. B. King following his daughters’ allegation that he may have been poisoned by his aides. King died on May 14 at the age of 89 years. He kept up a gruelling schedule of tours that ended last year.

For the last two decades of his life, King suffered from Type II diabetes and there was a dispute between his family and manager over his care.

Karen Williams and Patty King, King’s two daughters, believe that he was poisoned by his business manager Laverne Toney – also the executor of King’s estate – and his personal assistant. The courts document note that they requested a formal investigation was requested.

The daughters wrote two separate but identical affidavids that state that King “was poisoned and he was administrated foreign substances to induce his premature death.”

As a result of the autopsy, the King’s burial in Mississippi is being postponed.
