Bicycle beats Ferrari in drag race (Watch the video)

Three missiles, chemistry and guts

For every street racer, being pitted next to a Ferrari means that you must have at least the equivalent of the Italian super car. Or, at least, that used to be the case. In the famous Circuit Paul Ricard, Le Castellet, in France, a few dozens of racing fanatics gathered and organized a drag race between a Ferrari and a bicycle…

A daredevil cyclist, however, not only raced the Ferrari but won the match, leaving the supercar to eat his proverbial dust. For this to happen, of course, the bicycle had to be modified with three… missiles over the back tire, powered by hydrogen peroxide.

The cyclist was able to reach 333 km in 4.8 seconds, breaking his own world record which was 242.6 kmph.
