Bilderberg Club to discuss Greece among key topics

Guess who is NOT on the guest list for the June 11-13 meeting in Austria this year?

Everybody who is anybody with money to burn would like an invitation to the Bilderberg meeting due to take place in Austria from June 11-14. Sworn to secrecy, nobody knows what the wealthy 120-150 leaders from the world of business, media, academia discuss. There is no agenda, no resolutions, no clues… sending conspiracy theories spiraling.

Regular attendees to the event that was founded by Prince Berhnard in 1954 include Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, British Chancellor George Osborne, Goldman Sachs Chairman Robert Zoellick, former secretary of state Henry Kissinger.

Greece is on the list of key topics to be discussed by the Bilderberg Club this year, but there’s just one Greek on the guest list:

Tsoukalis, Loukas

President, Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy GRC

In the past, Greeks considered important enough to attend the meetings have been George Alogoskoufis, Dora Bakoyannis, Anna Diamantopoulou, Anastasios Giannitsis, Giorgos Papakonstantinou, Yannis Papathanasiou and Yannis Stournaras.

As surprising as the attendees are the absences. For instance, the absence of Christine Lagarde, the International Monetary Funds Chief, is startling – and reassuring for Greece if you are a conspiracy theorist. German Chancellor Angela merkel attended in 2005, but will not be there this year.

This year’s key topics:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Cybersecurity
  • Chemical Weapons Threats
  • Current Economic Issues
  • European Strategy
  • Globalisation
  • Greece
  • Iran
  • Middle East
  • NATO
  • Russia
  • Terrorism
  • United Kingdom
  • USA
  • US Elections
