A CL_215 fire extinguishing airplane operating in the Boeotia wildfire has fallen on the borders of Boeotia and Attica regions, approximately 1km north of the ’Titan’ cement factory. Both pilots are safe. The plane does not have an automatic ejection system for the crew, which means they were forced to do an emergency landing and then abandoned the aircraft. The two pilots are being transported to hospital.
