The German police, however, is concerned about the relatively high number of prank calls about bomb threats in recent months.

Town Halls in at least six German towns have been as anonymous bomb threats have alarmed the German authorities.

Surrounding streets have also been closed and secured while all public transportation has been redirected to avoid the area.

The cities affected are Augsburg, Göttingen, Kaiserslautern, Chemnitz, Neunkirchen and Rendsburg.
