Verdict on 2nd Turkish officer seeking asylum to be reached next week

The verdict on the request by one of the 8 Turkish servicemen who is seeking political asylum in Greece was postponed until next week by the president of the 8th department of the Athens Administrative Court of Appeals. The date for the discussion of the second legal action tool submitted by the Greek state has not been set yet.

The request for an interim injunction was submitted by the Greek State, along with a request for annulment appealing against the decision of the Second Asylum Committee, which had granted asylum to one of the 8 Turkish officers who is accused by Turkey of participating in the failed coup against Erdogan.
