Chalkidiki: Blood bath by the beach

A huge manhunt is underway for the Georgian man responsible for the cold-blooded murder

A fued at a beach bar at Potidea, Chalkidiki, northern Greece, resulted in tragedy. During an argument a young Georgian national, aged 29, open-fired at a group of Greeks – killing one and injuring three. A huge manhunt is now underway to find the gunman.

The reason for the argument is still not known. Three Greeks from a group of six Greeks were involved in an argument with a young Georgian who disappeared and then returned with a gun before starting to shoot.

A 34-year-old was shot dead and three people were injured during the incident.
