Chicago’s Agamemnon to Alexander the Great display casts focus on Ancient Greece

The Field Museum in Chicago is hosting the exhibition “The Greeks: From Agamemnon to Alexander the Great.” The exhibition kicked off on November 24 and includes over 500 exhibits, masterpieces of the Ancient Greek sculpture, paintings and jewellery gathered from 22 Greek museums.

The display focuses on Ancient Greeks and focuses on figures through the excavations data. Culture Ministry secretary general Maria Vlazaki during the press conference during the inauguration.

Curator of the exhibition William Parkinson said “it is a great honor such an important exhibition to be displayed at Field Museum; an exhibition that unravels the panorama of the Greek culture.”
