Clashes break out in downtown Athens (videos) (Upd.)

Police have apprehended some people

Clashes between police and a group of 200 people, who gathered on Panepistimiou street, broke out a short while ago in the centre of Athens. According to initial reports, a group of around two hundred people, members of the Greek Communist Party (KKE) arrived at Panepistimiou Street and scuffles with police rapidly escalated, resulting in officers using tear gas and stun grenades. Police proceeded to detain some people, while the situation remains tense.
