Cocktail parties, sushi and a stylish restaurant background. This scenery will adorn the “Symi Symposium” tomorrow, the conference hosted by former PM and President of Socialist International, George Papandreou. After his “one year break”, the 15th Symposium will take place in Spetses and most VIP guests have reached the island, according to a report from “Ethnos” newspaper.

The organizers have given the symposium absolute opulence, in “Freud Oriental” within the iconic hotel “Poseidonia”, with the cocktail party organized therein.

The newspaper claims that this year the Symposium will involve first-class personalities like Bill Clinton and Segolene Royale. The invitees come from 12 countries, and the event will be hosted by the Andreas G. Papandreou foundation, and according to the official announcement the VIPs will cover their own costs of participation and accommodation.
