Greeks are nowadays witnessing a conflict on certain parts of the capital, which will benefit from the crisis, communist KKE party secretary general Dimitris Koutsoumbas said on Wednesday ahead of his speech at a party event on special education.

Koutsoumbas said that the anti-popular policy is not a result of the debt and will not be terminated by any “haircut” or any solution that will be chosen and pointed out that this is a deep capitalist crisis that is running its course. He added that the people will always bear the cost regardless of the regulations that may be implemented.

The debt belongs to the bourgeois state and the monopolies, Koutsoumbas said adding that the solution that would benefit the people lies in KKE’s proposal for a unilateral write-off of the debt, as part of a radical policy change to the benefit of the popular strata.
