The body of a 23-year-old man on Crete was found on the grave of his grandfather over the weekend, with a shotgun by his side.
Authorities believe the man took his own life, especially since he phoned family members the previous evening to tell them he was going to take his own life!
According to local media reports posted on the sites e-kriti, cretapost and cretalive, a frantic search by his family, friends and police only turned up the body of the man at the cemetery. A friend found the body at 5 a.m. at the Platanos cemetery, near the western port city of Hania.
An autopsy is pending.
