Cyprus: The remains of the two unfortunate men are not identifiable

The two worships of UNIFIL arrived to Lemesos port earlier today carrying the bodies of the two unfortunate men Augoustinos Augoustis and George Opekis.
The remains were found at the accident site near the wreckage of the twin-engine aircraft type Diamond DA42. The Brazilian corvette Constituicao (F-42), arrived at the port of Lemesos carrying wreckage of the aircraft, followed by the German corvette Braunschweig (F-260), carrying the bulk of the wreckage of the fatal Diamond DA42 as well as the remains of the two victims.
The pilot was 54 year od Augoustinos Augoustis from Lemesos, father of three and the Lebanese passenger was 54 year old George Opeki father of two.
Family members of the unfortunate pilot once informed rushed to the port, while psychologists of the Ministry of Health were also present, and coroners which did preliminary examination on the spot.
The identified pieces of the aircraft were transported by lorry at Larnaca airport, to examine the causes of the crash from the Air Accident Investigation Board, while the bodies were taken in the morgue of the Lemesos at the General Hospital where according to statements by the coroner Nicholas Charalambous, samples were taken for identification by the method of DNA since the bodies were not identified intact, but in parts s and in an unrecognizable state.
