Dead children’s bodies washed ashore on hotel beach on Kos

How many more migrant children will be washed ashore?

Two children’s bodies were washed up on the Grek island of Kos on Sunday along with debris. Unlike the case of Aylan Kurdi and his brother, there was no media hype around the latest victims of a crisis that has seen 630,000 people risk their lives to enter the EU illegally.

The dead boy, less than a year old, was found on a hotel beach wearing green trousers and a white t-shirt. The badly decomposed body of an older child, from three- to five-years old, was dressed in blue trousers and a pink-t-shirt and was found hours later at the same spot.

Both bodies are now in hospital for DNA testing.
