Deja vu: Greece sets up Parl’t group to look at WWII claims from Germany… again!

This will be the third time that a committee of the sort is being set up

Greek Parliament’s President Nikos Voutsis on Friday initiated procedures to re-establish a Parliamentary Committee to reclaim German war debts for Greece. His proposal for a committee to look at Greece’s claims afresh will be submitted within the next few days to the Parliament Conference of Presidents for discussion and then to the plenum by the end of the month.
If his claim is successful this will be the third time that a committee will be set up. The other two times there were parliamentary sessions but the work was not concluded due to the dissolution of parliament.
