Doctors of the World build Christmas tree made up of the milk of love

A Christmas tree with meaning so that children can get their milk

Doctors of the World set up Christmas trees of milk at three points around Greece – Thessaloniki (Aristotelous Square), Athens (Athens Uni, Panepistimiou Street) and Crete (Chania).

Citizens helped build a tree of evaporated milk cans as part of the medical charity’s Christmas campaign.

Amid the spirit of giving, there were guest performers outside the main event in front of the Athens University on Panepistimiou Street.

The non-governmental organization is also calling for donations of medicines, clothing and non-perishable foodstuffs to aid their work with refugees.
