ECB’s stress tests results expected Sunday at noon

The stress test has been conducted by the ECB on 123 banks of Eurozone member-states.

The official results of stress tests on the Eurozone’s largest banks, including Greece’s four systemic banks National, Piraeus, Alpha and Eurobank, are expected to be released by the European Central Bank (ECB) on Sunday, October 26.

It should be noted that the ECB notified of the results the governors of the four Greek banks on Thursday night, providing them with sufficient time to prepare their own announcements to their shareholders and the market.

If a bank is found in need of capital infusion, the method this will occur by will be included in its announcement. A statement is also expected by the Bank of Greece.
