European Commission: Full implementation of prior actions necessary before money released

Issues still pending for Greek program

European Commission spokesperson Annika Breidthardt stressed that work was ongoing for the full implementation of all the prior actions demanded of Greece during a press briefing. Responding to a question posed by Proto Thema correspondent, the Commission spokesperson pointed out that the decision to release the installment to Greece will happen once the Euroworking Group (EWG) makes the recommendation to the Eurogroup. Eurozone sources said Monday that Greece had 24 hours to fully implement the prior actions from the moment Monday’s Euroworking Group meeting was over.
