FinMin Hardouvelis begins a round of meetings ahead of Troika arrival

Entering the final stretch before the meeting with the troika representatives

Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis will have a series of meetings with Greek ministers ahead of the crucial first meeting with troika representatives on Tuesday, September 30, that will take place in the Finance Ministry.

According to information, the focus of the meetings will be the issues that are likely to dominate discussions with the EU-IMF troika representatives.

The first meeting with Labour Minister Yiannis Vroutsis on labour issues will take place at 19:30 on Sunday evening. A meeting with Development and Competitiveness Minister Nikos Dendias will follow at 11:00 on Monday.

Then Mr. Gikas will have meetings with Justice Minister Charalambos Athanassiou, Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Environment, Energy and Climate Change Minister Yiannis Maniatis and lastly, Health Minister Makis Voridis at 17:30.

As revealed by protothema.gr, troika’s technical team has been performing a “checkup” on health expenditures and is authorized to pose labor and pension issues.
