Former MP A. Tsohatzopoulos’ trial adjourned

The hearing will take place on October 23 as the court hall was rendered too small to accomodate the trial

Jailed former PASOK minister Akis Tsohatzopoulos’ trial has been adjourned for October 23 following an opening by the Felonies Appeal Court on Friday. Mr. Tsohatzopoulos and his co-defendants are on trial for defense procurement kickbacks and money-laundering. The adjournment was due to the court hall being too small to accommodate the trial.

Mr. Tsohatzopoulos’ wife, Vicky Stamati and his accountant Efrosyni Lambropoulou who are both in custody and his former wife did not appear at the court.
