When is the Friends reunion special airing?

HBO Max has yet to announce an official premiere date for the Friends reunion special. Originally, it was supposed to be filmed over two days in late March 2020 and air on HBO Max in May for the streaming service’s debut. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, the project was temporarily put on hold.

That said, in November 2020, Matthew Perry shared an important update on Twitter with fans: “Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March [2021]. Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that’s the way I like it!” he tweeted.
