Gennaduis Library of Classical Music Nights a great success

Crowds exceeded expectations

The 4-day classical music event held at the Gennadius Library in Athens came to a successful end with crowd attendance exceeding all expectations. Under the title ‘Nights of Classical Music at the Gennadius Library’ classical music enthusiasts packed the Cotsen Hall of the American Classical School on August 21, 22, 24 and 25 and were treated to the sounds of masters like Chopin, Beethoven, Schumann, Mozart, Handel, Donizetti, Bernstein, Rossini and Piazzola, executed by the world renowned musicians of the Curts Institute of Music. The collaboration between the multicultural Schwarz Institute, the traditional Gennadius Library and the exceptional Curtis Institute of Music gave birth to a new festival of the highest and most refined cultural standard.
