Would you give up sex for a thick head of hair?

Greek-Dutch model Giorgos Tsetis is a man most women would find irresistible. Despite his good looks, the sexy man went sexless when he sacrificed lust, desire, and the very act of making love… all to save his luscious locks.

The model noticed his hair loss at the age of 21 after clumps of his hair began to fall out. Working for brands such as Armani and Versace made saving his hair a top priority… so he took Propecia, a drug that saved his hair but caused him to experience erectile dysfunction and a zero-point libido for years. He strutted the catwalk with confidence, but in the bedroom it was another matter.

He told Mashable: “There isn’t even a handful of models whose hair is receding, so to have a full set of hair is a prerequisite in landing any job.”

Propencia is a drug commonly used to treat male pattern blockness and works by blocking a chemical that affects hair loss in men. Approved by the Food and Drug Administration, the drug caused Tsetis’ hair to thicken but also caused him to experience erectile dysfunction and a low libido for six years.

“My confidence as a man went down the drain and it was at such a young age. I’m a positive person in general but not being able to perform takes a toll on you,” he said.

He stopped using Propecia three years ago and stepped out of modeling and into the hair industry. Tsetis and business partner Roland Peralta create products for hair loss, including a vitamin supplement called Nutrafol that contains compounds extracted from foods.
