Gov’t unable to deal with huge wave of farmers’ protest actions

The farmers are angry saying that the government deceived them

The Greek government seems that it did not expect such a massive protest on Friday when a few days ago the farmers announced their intention to escalate their protest actions by driving their tractors to Athens and camp at Syntagma square at the center of Athens.

There is a great concern about how they will deal with the demands of the farmers, how to fulfill the big promises they made during election campaign.

Now, the farmers are angry saying that the government deceived them and claiming that the government’s proposed measures lead to the death of the farmers.

The government seems unable to deal with farmers’ protest and with vague promises for corrections to the draft law the government and Prime Minister hope that farmers will put an end to their protest actions.
