Great Greek actor Minas Hatzisavvas in hospital after stroke

The actor was rushed to hospital on Monday in a coma

Popular Greek actor Minas Hatzisavvas is at Evangelismos hospital at the Athens Center. Sources state that he entered the hospital on Monday night after suffering a stroke and was in danger for 24 hours battling for his life. Beside the great actor are friends, relatives and colleagues.

The actor was rushed to hospital in a coma after a blood haemorrhage. His health is already in a critical condition after heart problems that he has had in the past.

The actor was missing from a press conference that he was supposed to attend at the Hilton Hotel on Monday morning for the presentation of the film, “Another World”. Director Christoforos Papakaliatis told the press that the actor could not attend because he was rehearsing for a play.

Hatzisavvas was born in 1948 and has performed in many movies, TV series and theater plays with great success. He was won numerous awards for his acting.
