Michael Theoharidis replaces Argyris Dinopoulos as Interior Minister
Retired Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael Theoharidis has been sworn in as the new Greek caretaker Interior Minister until the general elections. His swearing-in ceremony took place in the presence of Hellenic Republic President Karolos Papoulias and conservative New Democracy Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on Wednesday.
Mr. Theoharidis replaces Argyris Dinopoulos who said that the country is fully prepared for the January 25 elections. He wished Mr. Theoharidis well in his new duties.
