Greek Communist Party leader Koutsoumbas on anti-racism bill

Regarding loans, he described new provisions as a “new crime” against the working class

Communist Party (KKE) secretary general Dimitris Koutsoumbas told private TV Antenna on Wednesday that “the anti-racism bill incorporates in the Greek law the EU decision, which essentially goes after the progressive ideas and the working classes’ struggle, persecuting not only fascism and other similar racist ideologies and views, but also the communist ideology and penalizing the different views.”

Regarding loans, he described new provisions as a “new crime” against the working class and referred to KKE’s law proposal for the reduction of the working class households’ debt.

Secretary General Koutsoumbas noted that “if we do not have general elections in autumn, we will have them in the beginning of 2015 on the occasion of the presidential election” adding that his party will not vote any of the candidates.
