Greek offshore licensing opportunities showcased in London

“Greece Offshore Licensing Round 2014” takes place at the Hellenic Centre of London on July 1-2

An event titled “Greece Offshore Licensing Round 2014” is being held at the Hellenic Centre of London today and tomorrow (July 1-2). The event showcases 20 offshore licensing opportunities available in Western Greece and South Crete and the latest on harbocarbons E&P in the region.

High-level representatives of the petroleum industry from around the globe are expected to attend the event after over 500 invitations were sent out to oil companies and energy groups and over 100 companies already said they would attend, including ConocoPhillips, Statoil, BP, Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, and Noble.

The keynote address is to be lead by Greek Environment, Energy & Climate Change Minister Yannis Maniatis.

The presentation is organized by the Greek Environment and Energy Ministry and supported by the Research Center for Energy Management (RCEM) at ESCP Europe, the Greek Energy Forum and Natural Gas Europe.
