Greek statues take their own selfies at Irish art gallery (Photos)

Several images of Greco-Roman statues looking as though they are posing for their own snaps have gone viral

Even the statues are joining the selfies craze! Several images of Greco-Roman statues looking as though they are posing for their own snaps have gone viral, inspiring other users to take their own statue selfies and share them on the Internet.

On a recent visit to the Ireland’s Crawford Art Gallery, an anonymous Reddit user had the clever and original idea of photographing the museum’s collection of Greco-Roman statues to make it look as though they were posing for their own selfies, by cleverly positioning his camera.

“The staff in that art gallery were giving me some strange looks,” the user wrote on Reddit.

The statues which were photographed are plaster copies modeled after the originals at the Vatican Museum.
