Greeks take lessons from the United States

U.S. know-how comes to Greece thanks to the reactivation of an agreement with the U.S. Competitiveness Council

Development Minister Costas Skrekas and U.S. Competitiveness Council head Deborah Wince-Smith agreed to re-activate an earlier agreement for the transfer of expertise from the US to Greece.

Ms. Wince-Smith said that she heads an independent organization that has a strong participation by the private sector, which has shaped policy proposals to strengthen the competitiveness and productivity of the U.S. economy.

Mr. Skrekas said the aim of the Greek government and the Development Ministry was to promote a new production model and that any contribution to this effect was welcome.
