Grandfather finds young boy thin and frightened

James Claude Lesi, aged 35, was arrested with his little boy Phivos alive and well. The little boy was  found by policemen at Chalkidiki, northern Greece, near the village of Ormylia where he lived with his mother before she was killed by her husband of Albanian origin on January 6. The murder took place in front of his eldest child before he ran off with the youngest.

He was arrested after 18 days on the run. He had been living in a little hut in the region where he had kept bees.

The arrest took place after a telephone call of a 75-year-old eye witness who saw the young man in the region.

His 4-year-old son was found alive and healthy and is currently living with his grandparents. A social worker has been called in to help the child deal following the ordeal.

The grandfather spoke to protothema.gr following the arrest. He said that his grandchild has lost a lot of weight and appears frightened. At first he cried, but calmed down after seeing his brother. The 4-year-old had been brought to him wrapped in 5-6 jackets.
