How much money will Greek political parties get for the elections?

Greece knows no crisis when it comes to the political funding of parties prior to their election campaign

The full amount allocated to political parties during the second elections of the year due to take place on September 20 is a staggering 3,532,000 euros. This amount is 500,000 euros less than the 4,036,000 euros that had been given to political parties in the January 25 elections at the start of the year.

50% of the amount will be given to the seven parties whose deputies had been successfully elected into parliament during the last elections.

Golden Dawn, on trial facing charges of being a criminal organization, will receive the funding after legal restrictions are lifted.
