Idomeni: NGOs urge refugees to cross border

FYROM and Bulgaria have already been informed since there are information that some people have mapped the area showing the places from where refugees can pass the borders

The refugees and immigrants stranded at Idomeni are once more misinformed, since there are indications that people will try to distribute false information that the borders will open and they will be able to continue their journey to Europe.

According to MEGA TV channel, FYROM and Bulgaria have already been informed since there are information that some people have mapped the area and might want to distribute flyers to immigrants and refugees showing the places from where they will be able to pass the borders.

Police have been investigating members of NGOs and volunteers who allegedly are prompting immigrants and refugees to enter FYROM massively.

According to the same information, these are people of antiauthoritarian space who reached Idomeni from Thessaloniki, but also from other countries, such as France, Italy and Germany.

Up to now, 15 NGOs are in Idomeni, while major concerns have been raised for four of them.

The Greek government is trying to inform immigrants and refugees that the borders are closed and convince them to leave Idomeni camp and be transferred to refugee centers set up in various parts of the country.
