Inter-ministerial committee for Greece’s industrial policy is in progress

The meeting is attended also by Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis, Environment, Energy and Climate Change Minister Yiannis Maniatis and Labour, Social Security and Welfare Minister Yiannis Vroutsis

The Inter-ministerial Committee for Industrial Policy headed by the Development and Competitiveness Minister Nikos Dendias is in progress. The committe’s agenda includes further reduction in energy cost of industrial companies, encouraging entrepreneurship and connecting scientific research with the production side of the economy.

The meeting of the inter-ministerial committee is attended also by Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis, Environment, Energy and Climate Change Minister Yiannis Maniatis and Labour, Social Security and Welfare Minister Yiannis Vroutsis.

Moreover the meeting is attended by Education Minister Andreas Loverdos, Deputy Development Minister Odysseas Konstantinopoulos, Deputy Environment Minister Asimakis Papageorgiou and the Secretary General for Research and Technology Christos Vassilakos due to their competence on the issue.

The representatives of Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), who are attending the meeting, include the chairman and honorary chairman of SEV, Theodore Fessas and Dimitris Daskalopoulos respectively, Deputy Director Yannis Kirakou.
