Italy will not be placed under special supervision

Italian Prime Minister speaks out and answers questions about Italy’s future

“Italy will not be placed, under any circumstances, under special supervision”, said Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi to an Italian newspaper.

“I will not live in terror of markets. Italy is stronger than the fears of various observers and official figures prove so”, he added.

Renzi also added that the real problem is European recovery, which is weaker than any predictions and that industrial production is associated with negative performance across all of Europe, starting with Germany.
